Regulation
All Nursing Homes are regulated by the Care Standards Act and inspected by the Commission for Social Care Inspection.
Among other things, the Act describes the kind of information you need to know to help you choose a nursing home. Contact us for a brochure which goes into further detail on the subject.
If you have any questions not covered here or in our brochure, feel free to ask us. It is important that we help you make the right choice.
Fees
If you need nursing care, then part of your fees will be paid for by the NHS. If you need full-time care and cannot afford the fees yourself, your local Social Services will contribute.
It is important to know how much they will pay towards our fees. They may not pay it all, and you may be asked to make up the difference. Please ensure that you know beforehand how much this might be.
