We bring over 20 years of hands-on experience in care, leading by example with an unwavering work ethic and presence within the home. Having grown up within the nursing home environment, I have a deep, instinctive understanding of what high-quality care looks like in practice. After graduating with a Master’s in Chemical Engineering and gaining experience in manufacturing, I bring a structured, process-driven mindset into the home. Combining operational discipline with hands-on involvement, I am actively engaged in day-to-day running, continually driving standards, efficiency, and the delivery of outstanding care.
Qualified teacher and 44 years experience working in adult health and social care, through mental health care, dementia care and working with complex behaviours. Project managed and consulted on numerous new start care schemes and purpose built care villages. Leadership and crisis management expertise, over a long and rewarding career.
I’m passionate about creating a homely, welcoming atmosphere where residents feel comfortable and valued. I believe in kindness, respect, and teamwork — making sure residents, families, and staff feel part of our warm, supportive community across my nursing homes.
With over 10 years of experience in healthcare, I have dedicated my career to supporting adults with a wide range of physical and mental health needs. I have had the privilege of caring for individuals living with different complex conditions. As a deputy manager and mother of three, I bring compassion, resilience, and strong leadership to everything I do. I am committed to delivering the highest standard of care and making a positive difference in the lives of those I support.
I have been in nursing for over 20 years, with experience across dementia care, general nursing, and clinical governance.
In my role, I support our nursing and care teams to ensure every resident receives safe, compassionate, and person-centred care. I work closely with management, staff, residents, and healthcare professionals to uphold high standards while respecting the wellbeing and dignity of everyone in our home.
As a former shift co-ordinator and now administrator in a nursing home, I thrive on learning new skills every day. I’m always happy to help, whether that’s arranging flowers to brighten someone’s day or being a confidant for residents and colleagues alike. No two days are ever the same, and that’s what I love most about my role.
I bring a wealth of experience from the children’s sector and a passionate focus on enhancing residents’ wellbeing through nature and music. I am currently training in therapeutic forest approaches for green dementia care. I enjoy integrating outdoor, nature-based activities to support residents' physical and mental health. I deliver tailored musical sessions and my one-to-one activities are thoughtfully customised to each resident’s preferences, ranging from reading, baking, to games and crafts.
I have experience in a similar role in mental health in my previous role. I believe in getting to know residents personally and understanding their interests. By drawing on their past hobbies, jobs, and passions, I create group and one-to-one activities that enrich their lives mentally, physically, and socially, while also connecting them with the wider community.
